About

Portrait of Vini

I studied electronics, then learned to animate. That pairing never left me: half of me wants to make the frame beautiful, the other half wants to know how the machine renders it.

Since 2010 I’ve modelled and simulated as a 3D generalist, composited, run creative for growing businesses, supervised VFX for medical VR, and headed video production for a virtual cycling game. Somewhere along the way the job became less about one shot and more about the whole pipeline, and the people who run it.

CuriousMonkey is the name I make things under. The monkey is the part of me that has to take everything apart to see how it works.
