Short and plain: what this site collects, why, and how to say no.

Counting visits
Cloudflare Web Analytics counts page views without cookies and without identifying you. It sees things like the page, the country and the type of device, only as totals.
Google Analytics 4 helps me see which pages and Lab tools people find useful. It sets cookies and records the pages you view, roughly where you are (city or country), your device and browser, and how you arrived. Google Analytics does not store your IP address. Advertising features and personalisation are switched off, and nothing is used to show you ads.
If you are in the European Economic Area, the UK or Switzerland, Google Analytics stays off until you choose Allow. Elsewhere it is on by default, and you can switch it off below at any time.
On your device
The site remembers a few small settings in your browser so it behaves the same next time: light or dark theme, whether you have seen the intro or the tour, the background shape, your analytics choice, and progress you save inside Lab tools. These stay on your device and are not sent to me. Clearing your browser data removes them.
The “you are here” label in the corner of the home page uses Cloudflare’s city-level guess from your connection. It is shown to you and not stored.
Getting in touch
The brief form on the contact page does not send anything to this site. It opens your own email app (or Gmail or Outlook) with your message filled in. If you email me, I keep the conversation to reply and work with you, and I don’t share it.
Who handles the data
The site is run by Vini (CuriousMonkey) in Bengaluru, India. It is hosted by Cloudflare. Google Analytics is provided by Google, which keeps analytics data for a limited period and processes it under its own privacy policy: how Google uses information from sites that use its services.
